INNER AND OUTER BELTS

Coextruded automotive seals present challenging automation and processing challenges. Strict dimensional tolerances coupled with variable material properties require experience based and thoughtful machine design to reduce operator stress while meeting high production volumes.

Our machine portfolio includes straight cut to length with fixed blade tooling and diamond saws. Machine for end notching for door pillar fitment, Polyethylene strip bonding for full loop hatch and door seals. Most recently, full notching of inner belts completed in-line with the extrusion process with no need for operator handling or secondary finishing.
